Well, if it wasn't for the ME, I'd say come stay at out house *pouts at illness*. But hey, how about a last minute holiday to Chevron 7.2? Lots of fannish fans there!!
If I was well, I'd offer to do some of the tourist trail with you (depending on money and such like considerations, of course!). We could do London and then I could introduce you to the Derbyshire dales and peak district... *sigh* Ah, dreams...
Hrm, well my cheap fares are coming up on the "my dates are flexible" option, so I don't know if it would include that particular one... but heck, why not? Might be fun to at least see what the fare would be XD
(Getting the time off work... hah, that should be fun.)
Maybe a trip can be plann-ed when the ME isn't so bad. Or do some sort of whirlwind UK tour. I could always dip down on my way to/from Scotland. Haven't been there yet! :o
If you come before the ME is gone and don't mind stopping in a b&b or hotel, we could so do that! Make it a weekend (a bank holiday weekend would be even better) and I'd have the car too (hubby uses it to get to work).
If you come when the ME's let up/gone completely (no idea when that would be), then I like the idea of meeting you somewhere (Scotland would be so cool) and then - depending on work commitments (if I'm back at work) - you could come here for a few days on your way elsewhere, maybe?
We have relatives in Scotland, so we could visit them and then meet up if you wanted to do things on your own first, that wouldn't be a problem. We also have relatives/friends in the London area, and down on the South East coast, and in the Portsmouth area, and Cornwall too!
I'll have to run these ideas past hubby first, of course!
Do you think Britain is ready for the two of us together?! *bg*
I'd probably go the B&B or hotel route rather than hostels like last time if I decided to drop everything and come right now (which is rather tempting in and of itself *g*)
Of course, I haven't checked to see if my passport is even still valid. Whoops.
Do you think Britain is ready for the two of us together?! *bg*
Well, it's handled us as individuals, surely it can take the combination (but only just.)
