Big! Bang! Preview! -- dvd_commentary -- TS Eduardo
I want to thank everyone who voted in yesterday's poll. The trailer style preview won by a landslide, so I wound up going with that one (although I might do something with the Slighty Sinister Corporate Welcome Packet at a later date ;)

sgabigbang fic is officially up over at the comm. Check it out! I, er, spent maybe a teensy bit too much time on it.
I also wholeheartedly suggest checking out all of the other previews that have been put up. They all sound so very awesome. I just cannot wait for next week to get here. I have little doubt that the Big Bang will live up to its name.

sholio, naye, xparrot, leesa_perrie, jadesfire2808, and kristen999). I think I want to sign up for a commentary or two myself, but I don't know if I'll have time yet, and don't want to commit until I know for sure.
I just love the thought of extended commentary/discussions on fanfic in general. If it sounds like your thing, I believe they're still accepting both authors and commentators.

Finally, I'm a wimp, and decided to stay home today rather than be adventurous and risk driving home in the middle of TS Eduardo this evening. I know, I know, playing Russian Roulette with street/highway flooding is fun, but I thought, "hey, if the General floods out, it's not like I can go back to my old car", so, at least for today, caution is the better part of valor.
My rapidly dwindling personal time (stupid mystery bug) doesn't thank me, but oh well. I've done the "drive home in tropical storm" routine before, and I'd rather be trapped in my home than trapped outside of it.

On the DVD commentary - how does that work exactly? I saw a post with a list of fics and "claims", so I assume you can't just randomly take someone's fic and post a DVD commentary on the site?Argh, never mind, I followed your link. No questions. *still in Twilight stupor*I read a couple of commentaries and oh yes, that is fun reading. I ... maaaaay ... sign up. Not sure yet.

Eduardo is currently merrily watering the lawn, the garden, the streets, and everything in between, as well as occasionally knocking out our satellite. He's having a merry old time -- but he's behaved himself thus far. It looks like it's breaking up now that it's officially made landfall? I'm more concerned about the flooding at this point than the winds. Houston has a charming habit of becoming a lake when we get dumped with a heavy amount of rain.

I'm working my way through doing a commentary, I just hope I'm doing it right! There seems to be some squeeing going on and not much else, but then I did choose a really cool story to comment on!! I'll try and put some more sensible thoughts into it later... And maybe do a second story if this goes well!
Hope that Eduardo doesn't flood you out or anything. Good call to stay at home, me thinks. Especially if the mystery bug is still hanging around.

Eduardo has been a remarkably well-behaved Tropical Storm. It's looking like I could have actually gone in today without any problem. Either we're in the eye, or it really is breaking up, because it's just about stopped raining.
I love the See No Evil title pic with the cracked glasses - and your icon for it too!
It took me a while to find the right stock photo, but it was the first image that came to mind after I came up with the title. I think I'm slightly obsessed with those glasses at this point XD
Oh, and I love your other new icon with Rodney in the bath!! I wonder why?! Snerk!!
