Here's some recs for you. I don't know how you feel about crime-dramas but if you haven't seen Life or The Mentalist you are really missing out on some of the best shows out there. They both have surprised me by how good they are. You really need to watch them.

A movie that you must see is "Music Within" It's a lovely dark humor story about the founder of the "People With Disabilities Act". Wonderful story, a real heart warmer must watch.
