Google Chat--FAIL


me: Georgio!
George did not receive your chat.
me: Georgio did not receive my chat. This saddens me. :(
George did not receive your chat.
me: Curses! It appears that we will be forever parted, and never shall our words meet.
George: D: I seem to have not received your chat.
me: :O But I received yours!
Does that mean Google will allow our words to meet finally?
To partake in an exchange of letters and ideas and... and...
George did not receive your chat.
me: DAMN IT
George did not receive your chat.

I think Gmail might be trying to tell me something here.

This is how it went down for me:
me: ...did you receive my chat?
BHGeorge19: George did not receive your chat.
me: Well CRAP
There goes that avenue

And then AIM flailed wildly, and disconnected. I'm suspecting foul play.

Apparently normal communication between us was not meant to be, as written in the stars by the great Instant Messenger Protocol Gods.

...or Google is screwing with their chat server today and didn't tell anyone. They've updated Gmail and Reader recently, they were bound to hit chat at some point.
