I feel accomplished!


Third time's the charm they say. Finally got a rough draft completed for my [community profile] sga_genficathon story!

Now I can start on my [community profile] sgabigbang story free of guilt!

April's gonna be a great month. A majority of my favorite writers are participating in the ficathon, so we're gonna have a lot of great fic to read very soon :D

The completed draft is actually my third attempt, as it was the most "true" to my genre, and gave me the least amount of fits to complete. I also have the benefit of not feeling guilty now when I actively think about Big Bang. That's gonna be a blast!

*glare* Oh sure, rub it in! While some of us are still about halfway through theirs. Hmph! *stomps foot*, Well, I for one am glad someone is, hmph! I mean, how nice to be able to kick back and relax for a while, hmph! That's all I have to say on the matter, hmph! Congrats, hmph!

Some of us went for simplicity over long plots ;) Besides... I've got two half-finished stories from the first two attempts that will haunt me until their completion... but I'm glad that you're glad!

I'm so happy I think I might start comvulsing! ;-P My story's going at a snail's pace. My computer keeps crashing on me. So today my mom and I are going border jumping and buy a new one. Don't know how much I'll get down with the computer shutting down on my every twenty minutes. I'm up to 30,000 words and 15 chapters plus epilogue! Chapter 16 is coming along. I have to have this baby done by this weekend and I still have eleven chapters to go including the epilogue.

Good luck with the computer shopping! Not sure if you're big on brands, but I'm a big HP fan these days. I've got both a laptop and desktop, and they're definitely hardy little machines.

And just keep writing! You're over half-way done it sounds like :)

I told him not to, but did he listen to me, oh no, mister I have two PHDs knows everything.

Oh yeah, I'm going for a HP myself, I'll send you an e-mail with the URL to my future baby!

Yup, so far over halfway there, just that it's hard to write when your computer keeps shutting down unexpectically, ARG!

It's definitely a big weight off the shoulders to finish it up (and finally have a piece that stayed true to my assigned genre) Big Bang will probably eat my soul yet.
