♥! Oh, thank you! I usually avoid writing some of the more "classic" scenes in the H/C genre, especially the waiting room. It's one of those things where I love reading them, but can almost never figure out how to write them properly.

I know what you mean! I'm not a big fan of the first person POV myself, so I was a little... surprised that this story wound up going this route. I swear, I tried writing this in third person about three different times, but kept giving up a few paragraphs in. Finally, I threw my hands up in the air, let John take control. Apparently he had a few things to say on the matter. *g*
