We were watching a Fox 26 Newscast a few minutes ago (they're extending their broadcast), and, um, yeah. The Weather Channel is only doing sensationalism coverage if that's anything to go by. It's not bad, but while we were watching a livecam, in about a two-minute period I think we saw three transformers blow around the Medical Center.

The good news is that there doesn't appear to be a lot of rain with the storm, so maybe we'll avoid the flooding issue this time around. *crosses fingers* Our house has been flooded three times so far before a lot of renovations were done to the drainage systems, so I'm hoping we avoid that bullet. I'm hoping your parents are in a higher elevation area.
