Haha, they don't, even though they totally should. I think I wound up paying more attention in class and taking better notes when I had a computer, because I'd be ALT+TAB'ing between Word and Solitaire every few seconds. (What do you mean short attention span?)

Crazy thing that subconscious. Even listening to music sometimes isn't enough for me, because unlike a story that I have to actively listen and become involved in, I'll filter out my favorite songs to white noise to follow the internal rambling in my brain.
