"The Shrine" Follow-Up (with actual words this time!)
Slightly more coherent (but still pure squail) thoughts on The Shrine. I might be able to write full sentences at some point.

♥ John announced his undying friendship for Rodney. "Just face it, you're stuck with me."
♥ The beginning scene that nearly broke me, and the desperation in his voice
♥ Ronon putting on his game face to get that last day with the real Rodney... with EVERYONE
♥ THE PIER SCENE THAT HAS MADE MY SHIFT KEY STICKY BECAUSE OMG SHOW YOU WENT THERE AND YOU SAID IT
♥ John's sleeping shirt XD
♥ John wearing the Flan Flannel on the pier
♥ John offering Rodney his jacket
♥ 42 MINUTES OF JOHN'S "This is NOT happening" FACE
♥ The SMILE after the pier flashback
♥ Rodney RUNNING and SCREAMING for John through the hallways (and John's frantic scramble to the door, and to calm him down)
♥ Ronon wants to have a picnic!
♥ Ronon carries Rodney through the gate
♥ That look of guilt that John carries, because he sent the jumper ahead instead of getting his team to safety immediately
♥ Deteriorating Rodney's pure, genuine, happy smile just broke me. Because that's the guy he is under all those walls--and yet not.
♥ Jeannie breaking a little upon seeing Rodney
♥ Team wants THEIR Rodney
♥ Ronon and Teyla are taking Rodney to that shrine, and John's moment of "Buh? ...wait a second!"
♥ I will take the arms wrapped around Rodney's shoulder as a hug. That's right, I'm just taking it without the producer's consent!

ETA: My Great Big Woolsey Crush is in full force, and is undeniably there now. God, I love him so much, talking about his father with Alzheimer's, voicing sensible objections... and calling John to a stop making us think it's a warning, but it's a "goodbye" for Rodney. Oh... just... WOOLSEY!
