There are no words to express the love I have for my Kindle. It is expensive, but so worth it for me. It almost gives the feeling of reading an actual printed book to fanfic, which makes it that much more enjoyable. Tiny bit of learning curve on how and where to hold it, but I can read fanfic in bed at all sorts of odd angles. It's also got Amazon-paid-for wireless internet (that sucks the battery like no other), but it's good for a quick check of e-mail.

You can also buy novels for the Kindle straight through Amazon (why they pay for the wireless, methinks), although with so much SGA fic to go through, my novel reading has dropped fairly low.

ETA: That said, I am a tiny bit of a technophile, and am probably going to purchase an 8" netbook when Dell finally unveils their version. I might be a teensy bit biased towards cool shiny stuff ;)
