Of course, I have a tendency to write scenes out of order (in fact, I wrote the Cousins series out of order, let alone scenes! Part 2 was finished before Part 1, and Part 4 long before Part 3!!!) - or in the case of a recent one, go straight into the angst or action bit and then think, hmm, I need to write a set up bit first or else I'm constantly explaining past stuff - to an extent that's going to annoy the reader!!
