In the light of day (and sobriety), I seem to have trouble expressing what I meant exactly Friday night regarding Keller. I'm not sure I meant to say/imply that it was that Ronon and Teyla are from Pegasus, that was what was wrong, rather... and see, that's where I keep getting hung up, lol. I guess I'll have to go with I really enjoyed her in this episode, and will have to go back and rewatch "Quarantine" and "Missing" to figure out what exactly I'm saying.
A nice sign of respect. I've always been a 'Sam paired with Rodney as rivals or friends' fan, so it's nice to see an episode that plays on that (as friends in this case).
Yes, and yes! That's what I love about your stories, is that you explore that rivalry/friendship they have with each other. It's so nice to see it on the show too!
That scene at the end was just right - poor Rodney's hands!
I know... but you know you enjoyed the mini-whump ;) I really enjoyed the end too. I really like Keller and Rodney as friends. At this point I think enough time has passed since Carson for him to be able to bond and become friends with her. She is a flirt, and seems very much at ease with him. (Maybe it was the girl talk, hee!) I don't think the drink was more than friendly flirting, although I'm very curious as to where they've put this bar.
I think I commented in another journal that Zelenka's fanon stills are being put out of business by this bar talk. Of course, maybe our dear old Czech is behind the counter, ala Guinan (http://www.daviddonaldson.com/LAF/sheList/Guinan.jpg). (With the hat, because that's a must for space bartenders).
